🔄 Why disable it?

When the WiFi signal becomes weak (e.g., inside your accommodation), your iPhone automatically switches to mobile data (4G/5G). What happens:

You stay connected to the internet, but via mobile data, not WiFi
The WiFi network no longer detects activity and disconnects your session to free up bandwidth
You’ll need to reconnect manually
You may think you're using WiFi… but you're actually using your data plan!

🛠️ How to turn off Wi-Fi Assist:

Go to Settings
Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data)
Scroll all the way down
Toggle off Wi-Fi Assist

🔒 Also turn off “Limit IP Tracking”

Still in the WiFi settings:

Tap the campsite network
Disable Limit IP Tracking

In most campsites, WiFi antennas are installed outside the accommodations. So the signal can be weaker inside your mobile home or bungalow.

✅ Try this:

Move close to a window or door, ideally on the terrace side.
Step outside your accommodation if possible.
Avoid corners – walls and panels block signal.
Enable auto-connect in your WiFi settings.

Sometimes the WiFi login (captive portal) doesn’t appear automatically. Follow these steps to solve the issue on a Windows PC:

🛡️ 1. Temporarily disable antivirus or VPN

Some antivirus software or VPNs block redirection to the login page. → Disable them temporarily to allow access to the WiFi portal.

⚙️ 2. Disable random MAC address

In Windows 11, random hardware addresses are often enabled by default. This can prevent the WiFi system from recognizing your device correctly. To disable it:

Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi
Turn off “Use random hardware address”

🔁 3. Forget the network and reconnect

Right-click on the network name
Select “Forget”
Turn WiFi off, then on again
Reconnect to the campsite WiFi from the list of available networks

The area you’re staying in might be:

far from your mobile operator’s antennas
or simply overloaded, especially in high season (hello fellow vacationers 🏖️) What happens?
Slow or no internet
Calls go straight to voicemail
Bad audio quality ➡️ This has nothing to do with the campsite or our WiFi. Only your mobile operator is responsible for mobile network coverage.

No worries! If you didn’t receive your WiFi code by email, it usually means your payment wasn’t completed. Here are the most common reasons 👇

❌ Why the payment may have failed:

💳 You didn’t validate the payment in your banking app
⏱️ Time ran out before you confirmed the payment → it was cancelled
🔒 Your bank card isn’t compatible with 3D Secure authentication
🚫 Your bank declined the transaction

✅ How to know if your payment was successful:

Every valid payment automatically sends a confirmation email and your WiFi code to the email address you entered. 👉 If you didn’t receive anything, and no money was taken from your account: ➡️ The payment failed ➡️ You weren’t charged

🔁 What to do now:

Refresh the page and try again
Or go back to the WiFi login page and start a new request 💡 Be sure to validate the transaction in your bank app if prompted.

😕 You’ve got WiFi access, but the signal is weak or unstable inside your mobile home? Don’t worry – here’s why and how to fix it 💡

📡 Why is the signal weaker indoors?

In most campsites, WiFi is designed to cover outdoor areas (paths, terraces, pools…). Antennas are placed outside the mobile homes, so:

walls and insulation materials can block the signal
some mobile homes may be farther from the nearest antenna 👉 It’s not a technical issue – it’s just how WiFi waves behave, just like at home when you’re far from your router.

✅ Our tips to improve the connection:

Sit near a window or door – signals pass through more easily
If possible, go outside on the terrace or porch
Hold your tablet flat (horizontal) for better reception
Restart your device after connecting to the network
