How to forget the network on my device?
On an Android smartphone or tablet
- Open the Settings app and tap Network & Internet or Connections. These options may vary depending on which device.
- Click the name of the network you are connected to, then click the icon (gear icon) to the right of the network name
The “Network Information” page is displayed.
- At the bottom of the page, tap the Forget icon (trash can)
- Return to the previous screen and turn off Wi-Fi
- Turn Wi-Fi back on, then connect to the network
- Open Settings, then select Wi-Fi
- Then tap the blue “i” next to the Wi-Fi network you are connected to
- Tap Forget this network, then confirm
- Turn off Wi-Fi
- Turn Wi-Fi back on, then connect to the network
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom right of the screen
- Right-click the network name, then click Forget
- Turn off Wi-Fi
- Turn Wi-Fi back on, then connect to the network
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top bar, then click Wi-Fi Settings
- Click on the Advanced button, located at the bottom right
- Select the network name to forget, click the (···) button, then select Remove from list
- Confirm by clicking Delete
- Click OK to confirm your choice
- Turn off Wi-Fi
- Turn Wi-Fi back on, then connect to the network
