📱 My device keeps disconnecting from WiFi – what can I do?

Are you constantly losing WiFi?

Does your phone silently switch back to 4G?

👉 This is usually caused by a built-in feature on most recent devices.

When your phone detects a weak or unstable WiFi signal, it automatically switches to mobile data – often without asking.

This can lead to frequent disconnections, especially when streaming or moving around.

Turn off mobile data before connecting to WiFi.

This forces your device to stick to WiFi, even if the signal weakens.

On Android, go to WiFi settings > advanced and turn off

👉 “Switch to mobile data automatically”

This prevents your phone from jumping back to 4G unexpectedly.
