# 🍏 WiFi issues on iPhone/iPad

### 📱 Trouble connecting your iPhone or iPad to WiFi?
You’re trying to get online at the campsite, but the WiFi login page doesn’t appear? Or maybe your connection keeps dropping?

### 🔎 Why does this happen?
* 🔄 iOS doesn’t always detect captive portals properly.
* 📡 Your device may switch from WiFi to 4G if the connection seems blocked.
* 🕐 The session might expire if Safari is closed.
* 🔋 Low-power mode can pause the connection.
### ✅ What you can try
1. Open **Safari** and visit [www.google.com](http://www.google.com).
2. Stay in Safari a few seconds after connecting.
3. Avoid locking the screen immediately.
4. Make sure **"Auto-Join"** is enabled in WiFi settings.
5. If needed, “Forget the network” and reconnect.
